As part of our continued effort to strengthen chapter participation, connection, and overall member experience, registration priority for the Iceland Experience (May 10–14, 2027) will be based on each member’s Chapter Engagement Score.
Our goal is simple: reward members who actively contribute to the health, culture, and success of our chapter while also encouraging broader participation across all chapter activities. This system also aligns with YPO International’s chapter health metrics, helping our chapter remain strong, active, and highly engaged on a global level.
How the Prioritization Process Works
Registration for Iceland will open on July 1 and close on July 31.
On August 1, all registered members will be prioritized based on their current Chapter Engagement Score. Final trip selections and the wait list order will then be posted.
This approach ensures fairness, transparency, and encourages meaningful engagement throughout the year.
To see where you are, we have attached the current member engagement scores.
How to Improve Your Chapter Engagement Score
There are many ways to increase your engagement score — and most simply involve participating in and contributing to the chapter community.
High-Value Engagement Activities Include:
Attending chapter events regularly
Participating in Forum or Micro Forum
Serving as a Day Chair
Serving on the Chapter Board
Attending Annual Meeting or Chapter Retreats
Completing and updating your YPO profile in YPO Connect & Chapter Pro
Joining YPO Networks
Opening and engaging with chapter newsletters
Contributing content or articles to the newsletter
Participating in member recruitment lunches
Referring prospective members to the chapter
Additional Notes:
Event attendance is scored on a rolling 12-month basis.
Members with long-term chapter involvement also receive recognition for longevity.
New members receive additional engagement credit during their first year to encourage early participation and integration into the chapter.
Why This Matters:
A stronger engagement score doesn’t just help with trip prioritization — it helps build a better chapter.
Highly engaged chapters:
Create stronger member relationships
Deliver better event experiences
Attract stronger future members
Improve overall chapter health rankings with YPO International
Increase participation, learning, and value for everyone
Ultimately, the more engaged we are as a chapter, the stronger and more meaningful the YPO experience becomes for all members and partners.
We encourage everyone to participate, contribute, and get involved as we continue building an incredible chapter together.
2026-2027 Learning Officer,
