I’ve been fortunate to be part of YPO for more than three decades, and I’ve always believed one of the things that makes YPO so special is that we are a member-led organization. Some of the best opportunities come simply from members finding ways to do something great for one another.
Years ago, when Randy Waterfield was YPO Intl Chairman, we talked about the idea of creating physical places around the world where YPOers could naturally come together. I’ve always loved that idea, and Miami feels like the perfect place to take a first step.
As the founder of the Miami Gateway Chapter, I’ve watched Miami become an increasingly important gateway to the Americas and almost a second home for many YPOers.
I recently discussed the idea with my longtime friend and fellow YPOer Brady Wood, CEO of WoodHouse Clubs, which owns The Moore in Miami. After much prodding, I have convinced Brady to create a very special opportunity exclusively for our YPO community.
Through December 31, YPO members from all Florida chapters and the Northeastern U.S. Region can join The Moore for a $5,000 initiation fee (and receive the full $5,000 back as a food and beverage credit during their first year). First-year membership dues are completely waived. Even better, a spouse or partner can join at the same time with both their initiation fee and first-year membership dues waived.
The Moore will also host a standing YPO Night every Tuesday from 6–8 PM, a natural gathering point for YPOers who are members of The Moore. Those considering membership are welcome to attend as guests by arranging a visit in advance with The Moore's Membership team.
What makes this particularly compelling is that the benefits extend well beyond Miami... Membership at The Moore also provides reciprocal access to an exceptional network of private clubs, including: CORE in New York and Milan, Spring Place in New York, The ‘Quin House in Boston, Fitler Club in Philadelphia, Stovall House in Tampa, Park House in Dallas and Houston, Ten Trinity Square in London, and others across the U.S., Europe and Australia.
My hope is that The Moore becomes a natural gathering place for YPO members, spouses, Forums and chapters whenever they are in Miami, while the reciprocal club network makes the membership valuable wherever our members travel.
I also want to be completely transparent: I have no ownership or financial interest whatsoever in The Moore, WoodHouse or any affiliated club, and I receive no compensation, referral fee or other benefit from anyone joining. I simply thought this was a unique opportunity I could help create for our YPO community.
Perhaps, if this works, Miami can be the first step toward creating physical places where YPOers can naturally connect in other cities around the country and eventually around the world.

YPO is currently finalizing the inaugural cohort of the Investor Readiness Sprint, a virtual program for growth-oriented founders looking to strengthen their investment proposition, fundraising story, pitch materials and delivery.
The program includes three interactive workshops, small-group coaching and a live YPO pitch finale with experienced YPO members and investors.
